Akiko Aoki

Designer Akiko Aoki studied fashion design in Tokyo and Central Saint Martins in London, before returning home to Japan to launch her own label during Tokyo Fashion Week in Spring/Summer 2015. Aoki’s work explores the nostalgic and fantastical world of fashion by deconstructing and reassembling traditional womenswear. The result is a collection that is not only classic and delicate, but unique and subversive.
